Pope Francis has convened a synod for the Church that will run for the next 2 years. The Diocese of Charleston as well as our Parish will participate in this historic event. An email has been sent to all registered families containing a video message from our bishop and a survey. Please participate. 

All Neighbors Helping Neighbors angels need to be returned to the Parish Office by Friday, December 17th. 

The Confirmation Class is collecting items to help the woman, teens and children who are currently at Camp Atterbury in Indiana.  Please check your bulletin for needed items.  They are collecting through today. 

The next Women’s Guild Meeting will be this Sunday, December 12th at 12:30 PM in the Saint Anne Parish Hall.  All women of the parish are invited to attend.

Come and join us in celebrating Christmas Novena Masses Dec. 15th through Dec. 23rd.  Confession will start at 5 pm each day during the week followed by Mass at 6 pm.  Normal Mass times on the weekend. Potluck Fellowship to follow on Dec. 15th and 23rd only.   Please check your bulletin for more details.

The Parish Office will be closed on Wednesday, November 24th at noon and all day Thursday and Friday, Nov. 25th and 26th, in observance of Thanksgiving.  We will reopen on Monday, November 29th.

The Women’s Guild will be having their annual BAKE SALE on Nov. 20-21st after all Masses at both locations. The ladies are in need of help with set up.  If you are able to help with heavy lifting, meet at 10:00am at either location.

Sumter 2021 Life Chain will be held on today, November 7th, from 2:30 to 3:30PM. Location will be on Broad St. between Bultman Dr. and Wise Dr.  Please invite a friend.  Please check your bulletin for more information.

Pope Francis has convened a synod for the Church that will run for the next 2 years. The Diocese of Charleston as well as our Parish will participate in this historic event. 

There will be an All Souls Mass at St. Lawrence Cemetery on Tuesday starting at 12:15pm. 

Sumter 2021 Life Chain will be held on Nov. 7th from 2:30 to 3:30PM. Location will be on Broad St. between Bultman Dr. and Wise Dr.  Please invite a friend.  Please check your bulletin for more information.

There will be a Feast of St. Jude Mass on Thursday, Oct. 28th at 6PM at St. Jude. 

There will be an Altar Servers training on Saturday, November 13th, from 10- 11:30am at St. Anne Church.  This is for current and new altar servers.  Please call Donna or the parish office to register.

Pope Francis has convened a synod for the Church that will run from October 2021 to October 2023. The Diocese of Charleston participates in the synod which will begin Sunday, October 17, 2021.  Our Parish also participates in this historic event for the Church and joins the Diocese in opening the synod with its theme is “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and Mission.” 

It is that time of year again! Sumter United Ministries has asked our parish to donate 150 cans of Cranberry Sauce for their Thanksgiving baskets.  All donations are needed in the Parish office by Wednesday, November 17th. 

Ignight, In Search of God Night, meets again on Wednesday, October 20th at St. Jude from 5:45-7:15PM.  Ignight gives parishioners the opportunity to deepen their faith while building up the community of the faithful.  Come check it out!  

Remember the Pomp and Circumstance March from graduation?  The Adult Ed Group looks at its composer, Edward Elgar, who wrote other compositions, making him one of the most famous composers of his day.  Join us in the Adult Ed room at St. Anne immediately after the 8:00 AM Mass.
