All adult women of the parish are invited to a 6-week Lenten Bible Study starting March 1st.    It will be on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm in St. Anne parish hall.  Contact Cindy Tavarez for more information. 

Please come out and join us in Stations of the Cross.  It will be presented at St. Jude every Friday during Lent.   There will be NO Soup and Bread Supper after Stations this year.  Please check your bulletin for more information. 

The Knights and Ladies of St. Peter Claver will host the Annual Black History Month Celebration this Sunday at St. Anne’s Parish Hall from 2-4PM.  All are welcome. 

This Week’s topic for the Adult Education group is The Transforming World of Scripture.  Join us in the Adult Ed room at St. Anne immediately after the 8:00 AM Mass.

There will be NO Religious Education on Wednesday, February 22nd in observance of Ash Wednesday.  Classes will resume on Wednesday, March 1st.

Announcements for the weekend of February 12, 2023

Starting Monday, all daily Masses will be at St. Jude Monday through Saturday at 7:00am.   Sunday Masses at St Anne’s will be held in the Parish Hall at the normal times and Sunday masses at St. Jude will remain unchanged.  Saturday confession will be held in one of the smaller rooms in St. Anne’s Parish Hall.  We ask for your patience and understanding as we enter this next phase in the building process. 

Brothers and Sisters- our parish is beginning its participation in the annual appeal to strengthen the many critical elements of the Catholic Church in South Carolina.  Formally known as the Bishop’s Annual Appeal, this effort is taking a new direction and going forward will be known as the Catholic Appeal of South Carolina.  A letter from our bishop will be sent to every household, there will be information in our bulletin every week of the month of February and informational video has been posted on our social media.  Please prayerfully consider supporting this appeal and all the ministries it serves.

The next Women’s Guild meeting will be on February 18th starting at 9:30 am in St. Anne Parish Hall.   The focus will be women’s health.  Come join in the fun and bring a friend.

Announcements for the Weekend of February 5, 2023

Big News, we are almost ready to place the altar from St. Anne into the new church, this means that as of February 13th the Saint Anne Church will no longer be open for daily or weekend masses. The last Sunday masses in the church will be held on Sunday, February 12th. All daily masses will shift to St. Jude Monday through Saturday at 7:00am.  Sunday masses at St. Jude will remain unchanged and Sunday Masses at The St Anne location will be held in the Parish Hall at the normal times.  Saturday confession will be held in one of the smaller rooms in the Parish Hall.  While this is a positive move toward the completion of our New Church, we realize that this may cause scheduling issues. We ask for your patience and understanding as we enter this next phase in the building process.

There will be NO Mass or Adoration on Tuesday, Feb. 7th.  There will be a communion service only on Wednesday.  Normal morning Masses resume on Thursday, Feb. 9th.

The next Women’s Guild meeting will be on February 18th starting at 9:30 am in St. Anne Parish Hall.   Come join in the fun and bring a friend.

St. Anne and St. Jude Youth Ministry will hold their 6th Annual St. Valentine’s Day Dinner and Dance on Saturday, February 11th from 7-10 pm at St. Anne’s Parish Hall.  Tickets are $60 per couple and $35 for singles.  Tickets can be purchased in the Parish Office. 

Attention all high schoolers!!  Come join Catholic youth and adults from around the Diocese as we gather on March 4-5th for the 32nd Annual Diocesan High School Youth Conference!  Deadline to register is Wed. February 1st.  Please see your bulletin for more information.

The Church is looking for a volunteer to head the building and grounds committee. The main tasks for this committee are to evaluate and make arrangements for general facility upkeep and repairs of St. Anne and St. Jude. If you are interested, please call the parish office.  

It’s that time of year again- TAX TIME!!  Call or email the Parish Office to request your statement.  Per your request, your statement can be mailed, e-mailed or prepared for pick-up.  Please check your bulletin for more information.

The Knights and Ladies of Peter Claver will sponsor a celebration to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.  It will be held at St. Anne’s Parish Hall at 11:00 am on January 15th.

Religious Education classes will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 4th.  See you then. 

We will have a Healing Mass and Anointing of the Sick this Tuesday at 7PM after the Benediction at St. Jude Church.  Anointing will take place during the Mass.  This is for any Catholic who is seriously ill, elderly, handicapped or will be undergoing surgery within the next several days. 

Join the Adult Ed group as we begin the new Year with the topic Movement Meets World- Five Key Transitions.  Join us in the Adult Ed room at St. Anne immediately after the 8:00 AM Mass.

Announcements for the weekend of December 25, 2022

Great news and early Christmas gift to our Parish!  As of December 15, we received $152,736, 101% of the goal in our matching donation.  Thank you to all who participated in this fundraising to complete our New Church and to all who are behind the Matching donation.  May God bless and reward your generosity. 

The Parish Office will be closed next week, Dec. 26th-30th for Christmas.  We will reopen on Monday, January 2nd.  Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
